ECSA reviews regulatory frameworks

The Engineering Council of South Africa (ECSA) has commenced its nationwide public consultation process around the revision of 3 policy frameworks.  These frameworks relate to the growth and development of the engineering sector, and are outlined as follows:

•        Revision of Public Frameworks:

–       The Revised Voluntary Associations (VA’s)Recognition Framework

–       The Revised Continuing Professional Development Framework; and

–       The Draft ECSA Accord Framework

The public  consultation, which is open to all ECSA Stakeholders, VA’s, registered engineers and any members of the public will address the following:

•        Overview of Agenda:

–       Objective of the revisions;

–       Key Changes or Revisions;

–       Implications of the proposed changes:

•        ECSA

•        VAs

•        Registered Persons
