dmg
events, a leading international events company, has appointed Ben Greenish as
Senior Vice President to head its growing construction division and market
leading Big 5 brand.
Greenish
has held a number of senior positions at various media companies including UBM
and EMAP. He was also a former MD of
MEED in the Middle East and most recently MD and CRO of Future Plc with a
portfolio including 25 UK events.
He has also held MD positions with Press
Holdings Media Group, owners of titles such as the Spectator and the Business
where he worked to transform the traditional print model and optimised revenues
through subscription and event-based offerings. ‘Ben’s extensive knowledge in events and
media, particularly in Architecture, Civil Engineering and Construction, made
him a shoo-in for the Construction leadership role “, said Matt Denton,
President of dmg events. “He is a seasoned professional with the skills and
experience to drive the division and Big 5 brand forward. A strong and proven
business leader he is a fantastic addition to the team.
“As we look to grow the business, both across
our traditional Middle East home and further afield, through acquisition and
launch, Ben’s experience and entrepreneurial nature will be perfectly suited at
the helm”, said Denton.
