Wirtgen has received this year’s iF
Design Award, making it one of the winners of the world-renowned design label.
The new W 210 Fi large milling machine won the award in the “product”
category.
The iF Design Award is presented
once a year by iF International Forum Design GmbH, based in Hanover, Germany.
The W 210 Fi large milling machine impressed the independent,
international jury of 78 experts with features such as its ergonomically
designed operator’s platform, which offers both excellent visibility and
intuitive operation. The machine’s static basic design in conjunction
with its dynamic lines, structure, and color scheme also lend it an impressive
overall appearance.
The jurors had a difficult job, as
they were tasked with awarding the coveted seal of quality from among 7,298
submissions from 56 countries.
